What this site collects, why, and what happens to it.
What this site collects
The quote form collects the name, phone number, email address, pickup and delivery addresses, move date, and any move details you choose to provide. That information is submitted only when you send the form.
The address field uses an autocomplete service to suggest addresses as you type. The text you enter in that field is sent to that service to return suggestions.
Why it is collected
The information is used to review the move, prepare a quote, and contact you about that quote. It is not sold.
If you contact Pearl Movers by phone or email instead, the same applies to whatever you share in that conversation.
Third parties
Quote submissions are delivered through a customer relationship platform used to manage enquiries. Address suggestions are provided by a mapping service. Those providers process the relevant data on Pearl Movers' behalf in order to deliver those functions.
We use Google Analytics to measure page visits, clicks on our phone number, and accepted estimate and callback requests. We connect these events to Google Ads to understand which ads bring inquiries. Phone clicks do not confirm that a call connected. A callback request does not book a move.
Analytics events do not include your name, email, phone number, moving addresses, or form notes. Campaign parameters and Google click identifiers may be kept in your browser for up to 90 days and included with a submitted inquiry so we can identify its source. We do not enable personalized advertising or replace our business phone number.
Your choices
You can turn analytics off for this browser. Your choice stays saved, and the quote and callback forms still work. We also honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track browser signals.
You can ask Pearl Movers what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Use the phone number or email address on the contact page.
If you would rather not submit anything through the site at all, call instead. Nothing on this site requires you to use the form.
SMS messages
Checking the SMS consent box on a form asks Pearl Movers to send appointment reminders and notifications about your move by text. Consent is optional: every form on this site submits whether or not the box is checked, and it is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies with your quote and move activity, and message and data rates may apply.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. Reply HELP at any time for assistance, or contact us at (503) 858-9966. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. The full program description is in the Terms of Service.
Phone numbers collected through SMS consent are used for these messages only and are not shared with third parties for their marketing.
